track of the required length to set the duration of display for each
picture. If a picture has no audio track associated with it then it
is displayed for the duration set in the Delay box.
Version 3.3.1:
- Fixed a couple of bugs. The main one caused version 3.3.0 to crash.
If you downloaded version 3.3.0, you can fix this problem by going to
settings and selecting a font size, then saving your settings.
- The other caused problems when saving for distribution albums which
had already been saved for distribution. This didn't actually cause
any problems, but produced error messages.
Version 3.3.0:
- Added the ability to enter a filespec when adding new files.
- When displaying an image full screen, PhotoAlb now attempts to calculate
the best colour to use for the font to make it visible, rather than
simply using yellow. You can also toggle this function with an override

- Added PageUp, PageDown and Escape functionality to full screen view.
- The entry details function now displays the picture number.

been displayed fullscreen with antialiasing enabled.

as with antialiasing turned off!
- New software antialiasing for people who's graphics cards don't
support this function. Requires a fast machine.

picture is on.

wasn't a multiple of 4.

- Added fast Mirror/Flip functions.
- Fixed a bug when clicking on cancel when saving.
Version 3.0:
- Version 3.0 has been entirely re-written from
scratch in the latest version of the compiler. It is faster, more reliable
and more powerful than the previous version.
- Basically everything has been re-done so a change-log
would be pointless. Instead there are some notable improvements:
- 'Adjust lighting' has been replaced by 'effects'.
Not only is this much faster but lots of new filters have
been added like sharpness, emboss, Luminosity, the list goes on.
- Drag and drop within the album has been
added.
- You can now change the frame that contains
the picture and this changes to make it easier to see which picture
has been selected.
- The database search engine now allows you
to search specific fields.
Version 2.72:
- Changed cursors to highlight active areas of
the screen.
- Added Redirect Miniatures option to
preferences. When this is enabled, miniatures will be written to the
directory containing the currently open album, rather than to the PhotoAlb\album_name
directory. Photoalb will also attempt to read them from the album directory.
This allows you to store miniatures with albums on CD.
Version 2.70:
- Fixed problems encountered in 2.60 with running
PhotoAlb on some machines. It should now run on all 95/98/NT
machines again.
- New volume control code.
- You now play a video fullscreen by double-clicking
on the picture it is associated with in the album.
- Normally played videos now play in a virtual
cinema at actual size (see screenshots). This
currently only works optimally for videos of around the standard 358x240
size. Larger videos will be clipped unless played full-screen. This
should be fixed by the next release.
- Fixed some bugs in multimedia enhanced albums.
- Added Default Zoom to the zoom menu.
This allows you to select the zoom which you have set in preferences.
- Fixed several bugs causing problems when using
pictures on CDs.
